Be sure to check out the speaker and workshop for February. You don’t want to miss out on the opportunity to get a seat in this class. Chris Schulte (of Green Light Quilts) will host a workshop utilizing her pattern called ‘Aunt Margaret’s Scrappy Basket.’ The workshop will focus on techniques for piecing of quarter square triangles and raw edge applique. Fee to members of MQG – $50 (full-day workshop, includes pattern)
Location: Community Pavilion, 9669 146th Street, Noblesville
Time: Tuesday, February 11, 8 am – 3 pm (Note earlier than typical start due to scheduling conflict – but we may provide a light breakfast treat)
Supply list and pattern: This is to be supplied upon confirmation of sign-up (includes some pre-work of prepping HSTs and bringing select fabric types); see below.
If you are interested in attending this workshop, send a note to the program committee, or look for the signup table at the next meeting. Pattern will be provided at that time. Otherwise, if you respond by email, I will confirm your attendance, send you the supply list and, get a pattern to you, and provide instructions for payment (due at sign-up). I’d like to minimize the mailing of patterns, so I would appreciate those who can sign up early and get their pattern at the next meeting.
