After a three-year hiatus, the Nascar Brickyard 400 is making a triumphant return to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2024. The iconic race, slated for July 21, coincides with the 30th anniversary of its inaugural race and promises an exciting revival of racing tradition.

In honor of this occasion, the Storeroom Strippers will be hosting a “Brickyard Bricks” Quilting Bee. Bring your sewing machine and usual supplies to join us for Snacks! Prizes! Fun! On July 15th, at 9:30 a.m., 25 sewists will sew charity quilts to win “Quilty” prizes! No experience? No problem. All are welcome, and help will be provided for those who need it.  Quilt kits will be provided. The storeroom will be open for attendees to choose backing fabric. This thrilling  😃 event will be held at the Community Pavilion sewing room:

Sign up to attend the May or June meeting, or request a kit to sew at home at your own pace! In-person spots will be limited to 25. If you can’t sign up at the meetings, contact Laurie F. at lbf2417@mac.com to register.
A limited number of Kits will be available to those who may want to sew at home.
The resulting quilts will be donated to Community North Hospital for distribution on Christmas morning.
