We are headed to Madison Wisconsin for The Great Wisconsin Quilt Show. We are leaving the morning of Sept 3rd and will return the evening of Sept 5th. Times will be confirmed closer to the date. As we travel north we will stop for a quilt shop and lunch in Illinois. Then motor on to Madison to settle in at the Wyndham Garden in Fichtburg, WI for our stay. We plan to attend the show both days, Thursday and Friday, leaving on Friday to travel back home. We might also plan a stop on the way home for more shopping! Cost for transportation will be $115.00, the tickets are $15.00 for both days, the room cost is $125.00.
We will start taking sign ups at the May meeting. You will need to pay for the transportation and ticket costs when you sign up, so $140.00 in cash or check made payable to Mudsock Quilters Guild. The checks will be held until July in case anyone finds out they are no longer able to go. But after the July meeting, cancellations will not be allowed. At that time we will give you the name, from a possible wait list, to contact to sell your spot to them. You will contact Wyndham Garden at 608-274-7200. They have a block of rooms, doubles and a few singles, held for our stay. Please mention Murdock Quilters Guild when reserving your room.
