February Shop Spotlight

Welcome to the February Shop Spotlight! This month we highlight Unraveled Quilt Store in Spencer, IN. This sweet shop has been a delight to discover as I wend my way south to visit my hometown now and then. Lisa is just the most lively shop owner I think I have ever met.

She opened Unraveled 5 years ago and continues to expand as space comes available. In the last year she has added class room space and another room to showcase her products.

You can visit her shop Tuesday-Friday from 10:00 am-5:00 pm, and Saturday 10:00 am-2:00 pm. She does allow for private shopping hours on Tuesday, so call ahead to reserve an appointment. 812-821-0309 or email her at unraveledquilts@gmail.com COVID restrictions: social distancing, masks required.

In the shop you will find wonderful fabrics from Moda, Robert Kaufman, Free Spirit (Tula Pink, Kaffe Fassett, Cori Dantini), Dear Stella, Anthology, Windham, Wilmington, and a bit of Riley Blake, (In The Beginning and Northcott). Be sure to check out their Live broadcasts on Wednesday nights on their Facebook group, each week you will see all the new arrivals!

To help you finish your Unraveled projects they offer Free Motion Quilting services, check with them for a quote!

When you need a change up in your crafting check out their small selection of knitting and embroidery goods. There’s always something fun to explore in Unraveled! They also offer classes, quilt retreats, and special events, virtual and in person!
And they have some wonderful news to share with the quilting community!  The shop was recently awarded the designation as one of the top 10 shops by Better Homes & Gardens Quilt Sampler Magazine. The April 2021 edition will showcase their shop and the quilt they created to mark the event. Be sure to look for this edition on news stands soon.
