12 guild members joined Toby Lischko for a delightful class on making Kaleidoscope Stars. What wonderful tips and tricks were learned. Toby is an excellent teacher and guides her students through each step with clear instruction and examples.

Each quilter created stunning blocks using their unique fabric. Some even looked like Cathedral stain glass windows!

Final Block
The fun part of the day was after we cut out our pieces, we could rotate them to find the best layout. A big suggestion is take a photo of each layout and then look at the photos to determine which you prefer. It focuses your eye better than looking in real time. It also brings out contrast that you miss when you view your blocks close up. Plus, when you pick up or move your pieces, that photo is your reference point! LOL. Can you believe all these beautiful designs were accomplished with just 1 piece of fabric? And, can you guess which one of the three the final block matches?
