This month we visit the Lucky Star Quilts shop in Carmel. The owner is the delightful Stephanie Brokaw. She has been in the longarm business for 14 years and 2 years ago expanded her shop to include retail sales. How lucky she is to turn her passion into a thriving business! Or maybe it was her determination and drive?
At Lucky Star Quilts you will find wonderful fabrics to use in your projects, from Kaffe Fassett, Tula Pink, Figo, Northcott Solids, Anabel Wrigley, and Peppered Cottons, to Windham’s Marcia Derse and Anna Maria Horner fabrics soon to come.
Drop in to Lucky Star Quilts at 1000 3rd Ave SW, Suite 160, Carmel, IN 46032. But be sure to not follow your GPS directions to the door, because it will steer you wrong. The parking lot is at front of building accessed from 3rd Ave, do not navigate to the back of the building. Stephanie’s shop hours are Monday-Thursdays 10-5, First Saturday 10-2, and sometimes by chance you might catch her. Be sure to call 317-740-0086 or email email@example.com to check her availability.
Stephanie is continuing her longarm business and would love to discuss Edge to Edge quilting on your tops. Her schedule is very full, so touch base with her to see when she can pencil in your top for quilting.
Follow Lucky Star Quilts on Social Media and sign up for the newsletter to stay up to date.
Stephanie posts when she’s going to be in the shop, what fabrics are coming, and what they’re currently working on. You will definitely find out all about the current QAL starting soon from social media.
Lucky Star Quilts also keeps a good supply of notions, battings, interfacing, and rulers for your crafting . Whatever your quilting, sewing, and needleart needs are, she is sure to have just the items you are looking for. If you need a spark of creativity, check out the books and patterns the shop stocks, you are sure to find your next project there.
For even more inspiration, take part in a 1-Day Retreat at Lucky Star Quilts. Bring a friend or two, and join others in a sew all day event at Lucky Star.
