Another wonderful meeting with lots of great members in attendance. We had 6 visitors and 1 new member. We are growing each month.
As usual, we dispensed with the business portion first and got to hear from all the committees. We have such wonderful chairs who keep these committees going. Thank you to all those who donate time and effort to help the guild run smoothly.
We had a wonderful selection of quilts on display during Show and Tell, starting with the Jelly Roll Tops from our May event. We had 23 racers live during the event, but a few also raced from home. We asked all participants to bring their tops/finished quilts in for display this month.
Corinne Powell and LaVonne M sent photos of their completed tops

After all that goodness we had a lovely program of Christmas in June. The program committee gathered guild members to showcase items they make for gift occasions. Check out the items they shared and the links for patterns here.
After the sharing of the handmade items Vickie gathered the guild members for a fun game of Right/Left. Each member who brought a Fat Quarter joined the circle for a game of passing their FQ back and forth each time Vickie said the words right or left. When the game was over you went home with a different FQ than you brought.
At the end of the event there were some prizes given away, there were Christmas Cookies eaten during our break, and hopefully all the members went home with ideas for future gift giving!
