Melissa Mason from Quilt All the Things will help us learn to “Curate the Perfect Palette”
Melissa Mason became creatively inspired over ten years ago while living in Cairo, Egypt. Entranced by the fabric souq, she started sewing to manage her addiction to gorgeous textiles.
Melissa later started a business designing custom nursery quilts and bedding, building it into a successful and very busy enterprise. In recent years, Melissa has turned more towards modern design and techniques, constantly learning, playing, and developing her voice through quilting. With a growing catalog of patterns written for her personal use and a desire to be a greater part of the modern quilting community, Melissa created Quilt ALL the Things to showcase her work. You can follow her on instagram @quiltallthethings.
On May 10, 2021 Melissa will present ‘Creating the Perfect Palette’.
Melissa states, ‘Despite our giant fabric stashes, many quilters get stuck when it comes to choosing what to use for their new project, especially when it comes to solids and color forward prints. In this presentation you’ll learn some easy tips to help you choose colors that work, look for inspiration to curate the perfect palette, and even create your signature color story’.
