Fat Quarter Fun!

Fat Quarter Fun, is just what it sounds like, Fun with Fat Quarters! The Program committee gave us a wonderful chance at increasing our stash today by hosting a game. There were dice involved, but it wasn’t a casino style game, it was a Left, Right, Center game. You roll three dice and if you roll certain numbers you had to pass your 3 Fat Quarters to the left, right, or center, or keep it. It quickly became clear there were some serious gamblers players at the tables. Maybe it really was a casino?

Some pretty intense playing going on!

 And the lucky winners are:

Lissa Shanahan, Elizabeth Sampson, and Pat Adams

Peggy Fowley, Sharon Jones, and Linda Gillespie

Linda Garzynski, Patti Kings, and Linda Keller

What a fun program it was. Another part of the program was a show and tell of the Fat Quarter friendly quilts members brought to show. Look for that photo show to come with a list of the patterns shared.

After the Fat Quarter Show and Tell we had our regular Show and Tell. Members shared their recent finishes.

Chris Behme showed her Big Boy in Blues quilt and a Charity Top, June Koeske showed us the Ruler holder she made for Judy Schaff as a moving away gift. Hey June! I might be planning to “move away”! LOL

Kathy Zook showed us a cute table topper, Sandy Sandilands shared another Charity Quilt, and Sharon Jones shared her Lucy top made from the recent Guild QAL.

Judy Schaff shared two tops she has recently pieced, both gorgeous fabric lines, and Lynn Hupp shared a Stack and Whack quilt she made a time ago.

Lydia Lander shared the front and pieced back of a quilt she made for her MIL, lucky Mom! And Wanda Feder shared a great quilt she made for Community Charity.

And finally, Pat Adams shared this stunner that she made from 2″ squares!!
Oh My! Such a stunner.

To be sure you don’t miss the fun, make sure you join us next month for the August General Guild Meeting. Be sure to watch the website Calendar for all the details! And thank you to the Program Committee for such a wonderful time!
