What a fun day of sewing for those who need a little comfort. We had a great crowd come out for the sewing day. We had a Pole Dancer-Sally Sandilands, a Stripper-Lore Weas, and someone who was into “Bindage”-Sandy Metzger, you missed it gals!
Everyone’s projects were different, from kids to adult sizes and all shapes and patterns!
And when we tired of sewing, we shopped! Thanks to Anne Hart for vending fabrics from someone who is downsizing. I will neither confirm or deny that some elbows and punches were thrown. Sandy Metzger was even kind enough to shop for Rosemarie Shingle via her phone. Ann Ricciardelli paid for Rosemarie’s fabric and will deliver the goods. Gee, if I’d have known Ann was treating I would have bought some! But Becky Mathison bought the fabric I had my eye on, although I can’t blame her, I was being good and picked up several things and put them back. Finders Keepers, right?
After all the hard work and shopping we were treated to a quilt show of finished items for Community Charity and Quilts For Kids.
The next Community Sewing Day is July 19th, 9:30-3:00, Delaware Township Offices 9090 131st St, Fishers, IN.
