Christmas Party Details

The December meeting and Christmas Party is just around the corner!

What to Bring

The Guild will be providing chicken salad.  Please bring a dish to share based on the first letter of your last name:

  • A – G (appetizers/salads)
  • H – N (side dishes/casseroles)
  • O – Z (desserts)

Crock-pots will not be plugged in. So if you are bringing something that needs to be hot – please bring it hot.

When to Arrive

Please plan on arriving between 9:30 and 9:45; bring your dish to the doors to the classroom hallway.  Hospitality will meet you there and will take your dish. If you have some information about your dish to share such as it contains nuts, or is a gluten-free item, we will have some cards to note that fact.

Where to Sit

When you check in for the meeting, you will receive a table assignment. We would like to mix people up so that you’ll have a chance to get to know members that you maybe haven’t had a chance to visit with in the past.  After you check-in, please have a seat in the congregation chairs as normal. Someone from Hospitality will release you to visit the buffet. We are going to ask you to stay seated until your table is called as we don’t want people to have to stand in a long line.

What to Expect

  • good food & conversation
  • short meeting at 10:00 am
  • no show and tell
  • no Steals and Deals
  • a special door prize for one lucky person

How to Help

This all takes some coordination by the Hospitality Committee to make the party a success. To that end, if you are available to help us set up  (on Sunday December 8 from noon to 2:00pm) or tear down after lunch —- please send me an email. Thanks!

  1. This is Julia Dudis. Barbara Spurgis and I hope to attend the party tomorrow. I’m not feeling great today so there is a slight chance we may not make it.
    Thank you
