All monthly guild meetings will be at our new location, Cornerstone Lutheran.
Join us for the August program and listen as Susan Cook will helps us expand our quilting skills. She and her helpers will be demonstrating additional ways to quilt your projects. Time to get beyond stitch in the ditch!
September’s program will be presented by Doris Goins of Kendallville, IN. She is a certified quilt judge and her lecture is entitled “Quilters Seeking Blue Ribbons.”
For those who are going on the retreat to Shipshewana, please stay after the August meeting for a brief information meeting. We will tell you about a few demos we are planning; there will be a sign-up sheet for helping out with chores; an emergency contact list we want to complete; and we will answer any outstanding questions. If you can’t make it to the August meeting, please contact April Sterling or Alice Whitaker with any questions you have.
Heather Givans, the owner of Crimson Tate, will be presenting a 3 hour workshop on November 12th from 1:30-4:30 at the Community Health Pavilion at 146th and Cumberland. We will be working on her pattern, *FOOTNOTE QUILT (see gorgeous photo above). The cost of the workshop is $25.00 plus you will need the Footnote pattern. Heather will bring plenty for purchase to the workshop if you don’t have one. A supply list will be sent out prior to the workshop. In order to hold a spot for this workshop, you must pay your $25.00 when you sign up. There will be a sign-up sheet at the August meeting.
If you can’t make this workshop, don’t despair. Heather will be returning to Mudsock on 2/1/2019 for a 6 hour workshop using her Succulent Garden pattern. Sign-up for Feb 1st workshop will begin at the October meeting.
