The BOM for 2026 is a Year of Stars, in honor of the 250th anniversary of our nation’s birth. We are celebrating with 12-star patterns and a home Quilt-Along (QAL). Each month, we will present a pattern for a consistent 12.5” UNFINISHED block to be returned for the Monthly Block Raffle.
You can QAL at home using the patterns for the 12.5 UNFINISHED blocks and end up with a Sampler Quilt measuring 54” x 76”. This is Option 1.
Or, for Option 2, we will also provide the same pattern for blocks to be made in a
different size. These blocks will range in size from 6.5” to 16.5” unfinished size, with
some months at the regular 12.5” unfinished size, and other months you will be giveninstructions to make 2 blocks for your home QAL. At the end of the year, you will have 20 blocks that can then be arranged in an unusual layout to complete a 76”x84” quilt.
